You will have an opportunity to… 

• Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet stakeholders demands
• Guide the team on how to increase velocity and become more mature in Agile
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving.
• Facilitate the different ceremonies, getting the work done, and support the team to remove roadblock
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Report on sprint progress as well as project progress
• Guide and support the team during PI planning
• Act as the project manager on some projects

Must Have:

• First level Scrum Master Certification (PSM/CSM)


• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 2 years


• Project Management experience is an advantage


• Excellent ability in facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency


• Knowledge of techniques required to properly operate Scrum such as: Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc


• Focus on delivery of the sprints and project


• Understanding of project management skills


• Ability to have the dual mindset of Scrum Master and project manager.


• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal players and vendors


• Must be autonomous and self motivated


• Ability to lead and motivate their team(s)


• Knowledge of SAFe Framework

Nice to Have:

• SAFe Certification as a SM


• Knowledge and/or Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Kanban


• Applicable Knowledge of development/native apps environment


• Previous Experience as a team lead is an asset


• Bilingual French and English (written and verbal)
