Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic compensation programs and solutions to drive business results; including oversight of programs to enhance controls, reduce risk and maintain compliance.
  • Approve the benchmarking, design and implementation of all compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and merit increases to ensure they align with company strategy and best in class practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective, consistent with market trends, best practices and company objectives; coordinate implementation and provide guidance to leadership teams.
  • Ensure the administrative aspects of compensation programs are efficient, effective and scalable as the organization continues to grow.
  • Participate in, review and approve market benchmark surveys, analyze competitive market data and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures and incentive targets
  • Provide expertise and guidance to other members of the HR team. Advise on pay decisions, manage required audits, policy and guideline interpretations.
  • Develop communication strategies to ensure awareness of relevant and updated compensation and benefit programs and policies;
  • End-to-end process execution of selected compensation programs (e.g., annual bonus, performance management, salary recommendation)
  • Coordinates transfer of data to external vendors, plan providers, auditors, and consultants.
  • Partners with and advises benefits consultants/brokers in the negotiation of contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration.
  • Reviews and determines benefit plan changes and presents to organizational leaders HR management.
  • Ensure all legal requirements are met while overseeing the benefits program (HMO, government regulated programs, employee leaves, etc.). 

 

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum 5 years’ work experience leading the employee benefits and/or compensation functions of a human resources team.
  • 5 years as Director , with a total of 10 years in HR/C&B
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Compensation programs, design practices, and administration
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross functional relationships and influence across levels and function
  • Able to solve problems while applying creativity to support effective compensation proposals and solutions.
  • Highly collaborative team player who proactively drives process improvements.
  • Strong excel, analytical, modeling, project management and communication skills and possess an ability to leverage data for insights.
  • Naturally has a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • A self-starter, team player that is able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with executive management.

  • Educational Attainment is required
