The Procurement Manager is a natural leader with a resourceful mind, with a knack for finding suppliers who offer the most cost-effective goods and services. Your role encompasses the research, evaluation, and the purchase of products and services while keeping the best interests of the company in mind. Although your area of specialization is within ICT, you will be required to execute sourcing for other categories as the business requires. The ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers is also a must.

Responsibilities

You will have an opportunity to…

  • Create clear and explicit requirements and technical recommendations for IT products and services such as ICT Hardware, ICT Software and ICT Infrastructure in alignment with IT Stakeholders prior to sending RFx to the vendors.
  • Source, perform cost evaluations/comparative analysis (financial and non-financial tabulations), proper project bids, purchase, and coordinate the delivery of IT and other materials and services in accordance with company requirements, regulations, signed-off requirements of internal stakeholders and inventory policy.
  • Proactively search for alternative supply sources to ensure continuity of business operations, as required by business partners, and ensure to promote fair bidding.
  • Recommend new IT technologies/add-ons to current services for the business.
  • Ensure proper accreditation of suppliers and compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, third-party providers, and service contractors for pricing that will encompass a combination of cost, service, quality, and turnaround time.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per the company’s SLA.
  • Deliver cost savings through project implementation as per agreed purchasing plan and/or budget level.
  • Conduct local and regional supplier management and identify new best-in-class regional suppliers that meet company standards and requirements that will offer insights to the organization like market size and trends, projected growth, competitors, ROI and other financial factors.
  • Engagement and frequent alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Timely treatment of tickets and accurately processing requests using ERP system
  • Submit monthly procurement reports and create RFX presentations.
  • Present strategic sourcing recommendations
  • Help the Senior Manager in creating and implementing data management strategies to improve cost efficiency and solidify business cases.
  • Support to other procurement categories that will be assigned.

Qualifications

You will be a great fit on our team if you have...

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Industrial Engineering or any Procurement and Supply chain certification.
  • Experience and knowledge in sourcing and negotiation in ICT software and tools, ICT hardware and Infrastructure.
  • In depth knowledge and preparation of ICT Contracts and vendor management is a plus
  • Excellent business communication, strategic, and business planning.
  • Data management skills (Macro, Power BI) and project management are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience as a procurement agent with supervisory skills
  • Solid Stakeholder management and customer service mindset
  • Purchase Order issuance, Procurement Contract, RFx analysis or RFx experience
  • Presentation of financials and recommendations related to procurement which will be helpful in decision making.
  • Knowledge of ERP system
  • Someone who can identify risk and provide mitigations. Critical thinking skills and strong negotiation skills.
