Job Type: 6-months contract

 

Job Summary:

The Communications Team PMO is responsible for overseeing and managing the focused communications projects and initiatives for the team’s build up. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and lead a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Key projects:

  1. Process creation, process improvement, documentation
  2. Communications data, tools and channels review

Key Responsibilities:

    1. Project Management:
      • Plan, execute, and oversee key communication projects from inception to completion.
      • Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets.
      • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones, collaborating with project owners.
      • Identify and mitigate project risks.
    2. Team Coordination:
      • Lead and coordinate the communications team and create a comprehensive RACI
      • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
      • Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team.
    3. Stakeholder Management:
      • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and feedback.
      • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
    4. Process Improvement:
      • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the communications team and see opportunities for collaboration with other teams.
      • Implement best practices and tools to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management with understanding of the communications or marketing environment.
  • A team player who can inspire the team to infuse process and data in their way of working
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
